Who doesn't love a festival?

Probably lots of people, but those that do should know that over the next few months we are playing some pretty big shows, none bigger than playing with The Rolling Stones in Hyde Park on 6th July!!!1!! Too many exclamation marks? Not for the Stones, quite simply.

Before that we’ll be in Brighton for The Great Escape, then Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham for Dot-To-Dot, Bushstock for Communion in London, Leefest in South East London, Boardmasters in Cornwall and Bestival on the Isle of Wight.

We hope to see you there - say hello, we’ve become charming gentlemen on tour. Pleases, thank yous, how’s your mother, you’re da best, thanks a billion, and other incredibly polite phrases.

April is looking busy - we’re really pleased to have been asked to support King Charles across 15 consecutive days: April 1st - April 15th, we then have our EP launch show in London on 22nd April and the record itself comes out on the 29th. Will have pre-order info on that real soon.

Story Books have a few announcements to make - unquestionably the most significant to date. In one sense it’s typical band stuff: a CD and some gigs. Plain and simple when you put it like that, but RUDDY MASSIVE when you use other words:

Yesterday, Story Books took to the studio to record a live video of four songs. Webcams set up around the room recorded the session which was broadcast to a certain John Thomas on chat roulette. The live performances will be released in the near future.

We are releasing a new single – ‘Peregrine’. You can download it from iTunes now and then buy a physical 7” a couple of weeks later on July 9th - you can pre-order your copy from the link below.

It’s a white vinyl with a lovely picture. We did a video that is depressing, bleak and made on the Isle Of Sheppey. The Line Of Best Fit liked it, and Q Magazine streamed the song online too.
